Mr Sunshine

I was thinking today about an experience I had a month or two ago.  I was driving. Katie and Amy Jenkins were my passengers. I was being a knuclehead.... I thought I was supposed to turn right so I began to make the turn.  I soon realized that I didn't actually need to turn there...so I swerved back and kept going straight (Ya, I know. That was stupid.  But that is kinda the point of this story).  There was a guy driving behind us.  I kinda sunk down in my seat thinking, "Oh, man if that were me I'd be so mad."  But instead this boy wearing a bright yellow shirt pulled to the side of us, waved, and smiled really big.  Then he proceeded to pull ahead of us, imitate my silly swerve and turned his head and smiled again.  If only everyone in the world could be a little bit more like that guy. He knew some key things:  that everyone makes mistakes, that a genuine smile goes a LONG way, and that laughter truly is the best medicine.  I may never meet this guy again, and I probably wouldn't even recognize him if I did (unless he was wearing a bright yellow shirt ha), but I'm sure grateful he crossed my path.
